The gold top
Eagle Rare 12 Year Old takes the bourbon that built the Eagle Rare name and gives it longer to work. Distilled from Buffalo Trace Mash Bill #1, it rests for a minimum of twelve years in closely monitored warehouses in Frankfort, Kentucky, then goes into the bottle at 47.5% ABV, a step up from the 45% of the 10 Year Old.
The extra time and proof bring more depth, more oak and a longer finish, without losing the balance that made Eagle Rare a modern classic.

Eagle Rare 12 brings everything we love about Eagle Rare, with an additional two years in the barrel and a little extra strength. Built on Buffalo Trace's famous Mash Bill #1 and matured for a minimum of twelve years in American oak, it lands at 47.5% with more depth, more oak and a longer finish.
Sweet oak and delicate almond on the nose, a rich palate of vanilla and toasted oak, then a lingering finish of warm toffee.
