Eagle Rare is married from many barrels so every bottle tastes the same. Our two Wayfarers picks are the opposite: one cask each, bottled on its own, and each landed somewhere different. The 375ml is the reference point – taste it first, then see how far each barrel wandered from home.

Eagle Rare 11 Year Old Single Barrel – Cherry Jelly Jam
The fruit-forward one. We named it for exactly where it goes: big, ripe cherry, jammy dark-fruit sweetness and a rich, viscous texture that is unusual at 45%. Classic Eagle Rare oak, toffee and gentle spice sit underneath, and the finish is long and cherry-led. After eleven years the barrel had concentrated so far that it gave just 90 bottles, and it is one of the first Buffalo Trace single-barrel selections in the new 700ml Australian format.
Eagle Rare Single Barrel – Chapter Three
The one for the back bar. Eagle Rare's ten-year statement is a floor, not a ceiling, and this barrel took another fifteen months of Kentucky summers before anyone came for it. Cut to the same 45% as the standard bottling, so the only variables are the extra time and the single cask. It shipped to members as the centrepiece of Chapter Three in late May 2026, and is the last of our Eagle Rare picks in the 750ml format.
Eagle Rare 10 Year
The benchmark. This is the blend the two single barrels are measured against – the same distillery, the same mashbill, the same proof, married from many casks for consistency. Pour it first. Everything the single barrels do differently will show up against it.
Cherry Jelly Jam is $149 and Chapter Three is $150 sold separately. The bundle is $300, which puts the 375ml of Eagle Rare 10 Year in the box for a dollar.
How to taste it
Pour all three at once, 375ml first, Chapter Three second, Cherry Jelly Jam last. Give them ten minutes. The standard bottling sets the baseline; Chapter Three shows what fifteen extra months and a single cask do to the oak and spice; Cherry Jelly Jam shows what happens when a barrel decides to go all-in on one note. This bundle sits behind the Wayfarers gate and is not listed publicly. Stock is limited to the remaining bottles of both single barrels – when either runs out, the bundle goes with it, and neither cask will be repeated.
