The release
Van Winkle is a sweet, full-bodied whiskey that has been described as "nectar" by connoisseurs. The 12 years of ageing and medium proof create a remarkably pleasant bourbon that rivals the finest cognacs as an after-dinner drink.
Each bottle is drawn from hand-selected barrels in the heart of the ageing warehouses. Expect a buttery smooth palate with honey, brown sugar, nutmeg and soft oak, exceptionally elegant and refined with a balanced dry finish.
