The fourth and final release of 2024, and the batch that got people talking again. Barrel proof, uncut and unfiltered from Buffalo Trace's low rye mash bill, with all the weight and colour of a proper stretch in charred white oak.
The nose brings dark cherry, caramelised sugar, vanilla and a thread of leather over rich oak. The palate is thick and rounded, toffee, dark chocolate and stewed dark fruit with rye spice building through the middle. The finish is long, cinnamon and black pepper giving way to cocoa and slow charred oak.
