Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 50% 700ml

Distilled from barley grown on eight Islay farms and peated to 40 PPM, this expression captures the essence of the island. Matured for eight years in a mix of first-fill bourbon, sherry and French wine casks, it shows balance between smoke, sweetness and coastal character.

Tasting profile
Nose: sea spray, lemon peel and malty smoke.
Palate: honey, vanilla, toasted oak and saline peat.
Finish: long, maritime and smoky-sweet with gentle oak spice.
