This is Couvreur turned up.

Intravagan’za is essentially Clearach with no handbrake. A young single malt, matured for around 2–3 years in Moscatel and Oloroso sherry casks, then bottled at full strength, unfiltered and unapologetic.

It’s not about polish. It’s about showing the spirit, the cask, and everything in between.

On the nose, it opens lively and slightly prickly. Almond, frangipane and fresh cereal come through first, backed by honey, vanilla and a grassy lift that gives it freshness.

The palate is where it hits. Sweet malt, caramel and vanilla lead, followed by spice, light oak and a youthful intensity that keeps everything moving. It’s sharp, energetic, and a bit untamed, but there’s still a silky edge underneath.

That sherry cask influence sits in the background, adding just enough richness without taking over the spirit.

The finish is warming and direct. Spice, grain and soft oak carry through, with a slightly dry edge that reminds you this is still young at its core.

This isn’t a whisky for everyone.

It’s raw, expressive, and a little unpredictable, but that’s exactly what makes it interesting.

A proper “see the spirit” bottle. Bold, youthful, and built for those who want to experience whisky before it’s fully tamed by time.
