An embodiment of natural colour
M is matured in a small, hand-selected number of sherry-seasoned oak casks, drawn from a rare selection of irreplaceable casks. Extended contact with that sherry oak gives it a deep, intense character and one of the darkest natural colours in the range.
The decanter
The decanter is the work of designer Fabien Baron and Lalique, doyen of French glass making since 1888. Each flawless crystal decanter is individually numbered, and its six facets reflect The Macallan's six pillars: The Estate, Curiously Small Stills, Exceptional Oak Casks, Sherry Wine, Natural Colour and Mastery.
