The whisky
Kavalan matures this malt across three distinct styles of sherry cask, giving a deep scarlet whisky with real weight. Ripe berries, grape and citrus with toffee sweetness on the nose, then lingering sherried dried fruit on a warm, smooth palate.
Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025, and Superior Gold at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition 2025.

About Kavalan
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Kavalan was Taiwan's first whisky distillery. Water comes off the 3,886m Snow Mountain, and a climate that swings from 7°C winters to 35°C summers drives fast, intense maturation. The distillery was named Distiller of the Year at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.
