The whisky
The ex-bourbon Peatist shows the cleanest side of Kavalan's peated series: soft smoke wrapped around the distillery's tropical fruit, with coconut and custard from the American oak. Each bottle comes from a single cask, uncut, at between 50 and 59.9%.

About Kavalan
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Kavalan was Taiwan's first whisky distillery. Water comes off the 3,886m Snow Mountain, and a climate that swings from 7°C winters to 35°C summers drives fast, intense maturation. The distillery was named Distiller of the Year at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.
