George T. STAGG Bourbon

Loud, unapologetic and impossible to ignore.

750ml Kentucky straight bourbon Kentucky, USA

Distilled in spring 2010, matured for more than 15 years across Warehouses K, L, P, N, U and I, and bottled uncut and unfiltered at a colossal 142.8 proof.

The release

The 2025 release of George T. STAGG from Buffalo Trace Distillery lands at a colossal 142.8 proof, the first time the label has climbed back into true hazmat territory in years, and somehow still manages to carry balance underneath all that power.

More than 63% of the original whiskey was lost to evaporation over its time in barrel, leaving behind an intensely concentrated bourbon packed with deep oak, dark tobacco and rich cherry character.

Classic STAGG territory

Huge waves of vanilla and charred oak crash into bold tobacco spice, dark fruits and earthy depth, all backed by the kind of weight and oily texture only barrel proof bourbon can deliver. Despite the proof, there is still remarkable structure here, not just heat for the sake of heat.

For many bourbon drinkers, George T. STAGG remains the benchmark for modern barrel proof bourbon. Loud, unapologetic and impossible to ignore.
