This is rum done clean.

Flor de Caña 12 Year is aged in ex-bourbon oak barrels at the base of a volcano, using a natural “slow-aged” process with no added sugar or additives.

It’s not built to be overly sweet or heavy.

It’s built to be balanced.

On the nose, it opens soft and inviting. Red fruits, honey and toasted nuts sit alongside vanilla and light spice.

The palate is smooth and rounded. Caramel, baked apple and vanilla roll through, backed by oak and gentle spice.

There’s a subtle dryness to it that keeps it from becoming sugary.

The finish is clean and warming. Oak, spice and soft sweetness linger with a balanced, slightly dry edge.

This isn’t a loud rum.

It’s a refined one.
