Blackwood Distilling Co. - founded by Kentucky Derby winner Guinness McFadden - built its name on 'Toasted in Kentucky' whiskey: well-aged spirit finished in brand-new charred Kelvin Cooperage barrels, toasted with a proprietary technique.

This is the rye side of Toasted 105. Distilled in Indiana, aged a minimum of seven years, then given the same eight-week toasted-barrel finish at 52.5%.

What it delivers

Spice and sweetness, working together.

Classic rye pepper and baking spice lead, softened by toasted oak, caramel and vanilla from the finishing barrels. The result is a rye with bite, but rounded edges.
