The rested expression of Casa Orendain's Batanga range, built on the same estate-grown agave, brick-oven bake and house yeast as the Blanco. After double distillation it spends four to six months in ex-bourbon American oak barrels - double the two-month minimum a reposado legally requires - which rounds the spirit without burying the agave.

What it delivers

• Soft gold colour with a sweet vanilla and caramel nose
