Oak & Origin

Competition terms and conditions

These terms govern three separate competitions run by Oak & Origin: Bourbon Lovers for Dad, Rye Lovers for Dad and Bourbon Heritage Month. By entering, you accept these terms.

1. The promoter

The promoter is Daniel's Whisky Holdings Pty Ltd trading as Oak & Origin, ABN 68 642 008 053, Liquor Licence No. LIQP770018009.

These competitions are conducted with the written consent of Sazerac AUNZ as the benefiting business.

2. Who can enter

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Residents of the Northern Territory are not eligible to enter, and prizes will not be shipped to the Northern Territory.

Directors, employees and contractors of the promoter and of Sazerac AUNZ, and their immediate families, may not enter.

Prizes contain alcohol and will only be released to a person aged 18 or over. Identification is required on delivery.

3. Entry period

Opens: 12:01am AEST, Tuesday 18 August 2026.

Bourbon Lovers for Dad and Rye Lovers for Dad close: 11:59pm AEST, Saturday 5 September 2026.

Bourbon Heritage Month closes: 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 29 September 2026.

An order qualifies if payment is received within the relevant entry period. Orders placed but not paid within the period do not qualify.

4. How to enter

Purchase any product from the Sazerac range at oakandorigin.com.au during the entry period. Every $50 spent on a single order earns one ticket.

Eligible products are those listed in the Sazerac Company collection on oakandorigin.com.au. This includes the full Sazerac portfolio, not only Buffalo Trace Distillery brands. The collection is the definitive list of qualifying products.

The $50 threshold is calculated on the total order value, inclusive of GST and shipping, after any discounts have been applied. Ticket counts are rounded down. An order of $130 earns two tickets; an order of $150 earns three.

Tickets accumulate across all qualifying orders placed during the entry period. Spend that does not reach a full $50 on a single order carries forward and counts towards your next ticket.

Tickets are granted when payment is received, not when the order is dispatched.

Whisky Wayfarers subscription payments processed during the entry period earn tickets on the same basis as any other order. At $200 a quarter that is four tickets per billing.

Each ticket is entered into all three competitions. There is no separate entry process.

5. Cancelled and refunded orders

Tickets earned on an order that is subsequently cancelled or refunded in full are void and will be removed before the draw. Where an order is partially refunded, the ticket count will be recalculated on the amount actually paid.

6. The prizes and the order in which they are drawn

Fifteen prizes across three competitions. Each winner receives one bottle. Within each competition, prizes are drawn in the order listed below, from the highest value to the lowest.

Bourbon Lovers for Dad · 7 prizes

Rye Lovers for Dad · 7 prizes

Bourbon Heritage Month · 1 prize

Prize values are stated at recommended retail price including GST and are correct at the start of the entry period.

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the promoter's control, a substitute of equal or greater value will be awarded.

7. How winners are determined

Every ticket is allocated a unique number. Winners are determined by random number generator, with each ticket having an equal chance of being drawn.

The draw is conducted electronically and is recorded. Prizes are drawn one at a time in the order set out in clause 6, from the highest value prize to the lowest.

Bourbon Lovers for Dad and Rye Lovers for Dad will be drawn on Sunday 6 September 2026, or as soon as practicable after.

Bourbon Heritage Month will be drawn on Wednesday 30 September 2026, or as soon as practicable after.

The draw is conducted by the promoter at Mittagong, NSW.

A person who wins a prize on 6 September is removed from all remaining draws that day and cannot win a second bottle. Their remaining tickets are withdrawn from the Father's Day draws at that point. Fourteen separate winners will be determined across the two competitions.

All tickets earned across the full entry period go into the Bourbon Heritage Month draw, including tickets held by winners of the Father's Day competitions.

Results are announced publicly after the draw has been completed and verified. The order of announcement may differ from the order in which prizes were drawn.

8. Winner notification and claiming

Winners will be notified by email to the address on their order within two business days of the draw.

Winners will be published on oakandorigin.com.au and announced on Oak & Origin social channels within seven days of each draw, identified by first name, surname initial and state. For example: John J, Tasmania.

Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. A winner who cannot be contacted, or who does not respond within 30 days, forfeits the prize and a replacement winner will be drawn on the same basis.

Prizes are delivered free of charge to an Australian address outside the Northern Territory. Identification confirming the recipient is 18 or over is required on delivery.

9. Privacy and contact

Personal information collected is used to conduct the competitions and is handled in accordance with the Oak & Origin privacy policy.

By entering, you agree that Oak & Origin may contact you about these competitions, including updates on the number of tickets you hold, draw reminders and results. This is separate from marketing email, which you opt into and out of at any time.

10. General

The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The promoter may amend these terms where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be published on this page and notified to entrants.

These competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Meta, Instagram or any social platform.
