Squire's
Landing
A new home for the Australian Jack Daniel's community, built with Jack Daniel's and hosted by Oak & Origin. Find out what we're building, and join to be part of it.
A Place for Australian Squires to Call Home
The Tennessee Squire Association has connected people who love Jack Daniel's for seventy years. Squire's Landing gives the Australian chapter of that story a place of its own.
Australia has a passionate and growing community of Tennessee Squires. For years, local Squires have followed the brand closely, supported its releases and shared in its history, yet much of that activity has centred on the United States. Squire's Landing brings it home: one place for Australian Squires to connect, to hear what's happening in Lynchburg first, and to take part in things built for this community alone.
It's championed by Andy Tsai, Jack Daniel's National Brand Ambassador, and run by Ray Daniel and John Jarvis at Oak & Origin. We're building it with the Squires rather than for them, so what it becomes depends on the people who join in.
Four Things, to Start
Squire's Landing is just getting started. Here's what's already underway, and what's next.
Jack Friday
A note on the first Friday of every month with news from the distillery, stories from the Hollow and what's coming for Australian Squires.
Priority Access
First word on special Jack Daniel's releases, starting with priority access to the Jack Daniel's × McLaren HALO MK1. Squire pre-orders open Monday 16 November.
Tastings & Gatherings
Virtual tastings hosted by Andy, and get-togethers where Squires can meet in person.
Barrel Selections
Squires choosing Jack Daniel's barrels together. The first is done, and there are more to come.
One Room, One Barrel
The inaugural Australian Tennessee Squires Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Pick.
In August, a group of Australian Tennessee Squires sat down together in Sydney to choose a single barrel of Jack Daniel's to represent the Australian Squire community. Three samples, one room, a lot of tasting and talking it through, and in the end one barrel.
It was the first barrel ever chosen by Australian Squires. More than that, it was the first time this community had come together like that, and it showed us what Squire's Landing could be.
Jack Friday
On the first Friday of every month, the Jack Daniel's team and Oak & Origin will be in touch with what's on its way, sneak peeks from the distillery, stories from the Hollow and general chat about our favourite brand.
Why the first Friday? For those in the know, it's Jack Friday at the distillery. Jack Daniel's employees collect their monthly pay and a 375ml bottle of Jack to thank them for their work. We can't quite extend that offer, but we'd sure like to stay in touch.
"The Tennessee Squires Association started 70 years ago, and over that time it has built deep and lasting relationships, taking strangers with a passion for this great brand and turning them into a community of people who support each other. It's definitely changed lives. One of the ways we'd like to give back, by partnering with Ray and John at Oak & Origin, is communication and access."Andy Tsai · Jack Daniel's National Brand Ambassador
