2023 pork and old grenache

there is wine in this bottle from a grenache vineyard that was planted in 1897 in mclaren vale, south australia.

we like old vines. they tend to ripen with greater consistency and produce wonderfully elegant wines. this is no exception. this is perfumed, supple grenache at its very best.

try it with a game dish such as venison and drink it over the next 6 years.
