2023 Pig Iron Cab/Merlot

this is our first attempt at creating a super premium cabernet merlot and we think it's gone really, really well. this is a classic blend, but in a much bolder style than people are used to. this is a wine with depth, structure and presence.

the nose is all lifted berries and chocolate with toasty new oak characters while the palate is firm, dry and dusty.

this would be an ideal wine to lay down for the long haul or to enjoy in its youth with well marbled steaks or a lamb roast.
