The whisky
The Solist range bottles one cask at a time, uncut and at natural strength, so each bottle carries its own cask number and ABV, between 50 and 59.9%. The Oloroso is the benchmark of the range: dark, dense and layered.

About Kavalan
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Kavalan was Taiwan's first whisky distillery. Water comes off the 3,886m Snow Mountain, and a climate that swings from 7°C winters to 35°C summers drives fast, intense maturation. The distillery was named Distiller of the Year at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.
