The whisky
LÁN means orchid, a nod to Kavalan's home in Yilan. It brings together spirit from ex-bourbon casks, port casks and STR-treated vinho barriques for a floral, fruit-forward single malt with a chocolate core.

About Kavalan
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Kavalan was Taiwan's first whisky distillery. Water comes off the 3,886m Snow Mountain, and a climate that swings from 7°C winters to 35°C summers drives fast, intense maturation. The distillery was named Distiller of the Year at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.
