Today's hero · Tuesday 18 August
The father of Bottled in Bond.
Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr pushed the Bottled-in-Bond Act through in 1897, and set the standard the whole category still leans on. One distillery, one season, four years minimum, and exactly 100 proof. His signature is still on the label.
Tomorrow: W.L. Weller Single Barrel. A different bottle every day in the lead-up to Father's Day.
Tickets
Whisky Wayfarers
Every Chapter earns four tickets.
$200 a quarter, and every billing inside the entry period counts automatically. Chapter Four is open now: a full litre of single barrel Sazerac Rye at 100 proof.
Every $50 you spend earns one ticket into all three competitions. The count on each bottle is a guide based on that item's price alone. Your actual tickets are worked out on your full order total including GST and shipping, and they add up across every order you place before the draw.
Father's Day & Bourbon Heritage Month
Fifteen bottles. Three competitions.
Every $50 you spend on this collection earns a ticket, and one ticket runs in all three draws. Tickets accumulate across every order, and we email you the running total each week.
