The first Stagg batch of 2026 and the highest proof the line has hit since 23A. Barrel proof, uncut, unfiltered and non-chill filtered from Buffalo Trace's low rye mash bill, with the weight of somewhere between seven and nine years in charred white oak.
The nose leads with burnt brown sugar, rich vanilla, dark cherries and toffee over mature sweet oak with a touch of barrel funk. The palate is thick and viscous, dark chocolate, espresso and chewy caramel with a bready undertone and a heavy hit of dark syrupy cherry. The finish is long and spicy with real heat, cinnamon, black pepper, leather and deep char.
