The whisky
Peatist is Kavalan's peated series, each bottle drawn from a single cask and bottled uncut at between 50 and 59.9%. In oloroso, light peat meets chocolate, plum and dates, with pineapple and mango cutting through.

About Kavalan
Founded in 2005 in Yilan County, Kavalan was Taiwan's first whisky distillery. Water comes off the 3,886m Snow Mountain, and a climate that swings from 7°C winters to 35°C summers drives fast, intense maturation. The distillery was named Distiller of the Year at the World Whiskies Awards 2026.
