Aged for 21 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin American oak, “Tide” leans into that balance Jura does so well. Soft sweetness, warming spice and just a flicker of island character tying it all together.

On the nose, it opens rich and inviting. Crème caramel, sweet fruit, ginger and coconut lead the way, with marzipan adding a soft, rounded edge.

The palate is smooth and layered. Macaroon, gingerbread and frangipane build through the mid-palate, backed by white chocolate and gentle spice. There’s a creamy texture here, with oak influence sitting underneath rather than taking over.

The finish is long and warming. Sweet spice, soft oak and a subtle coastal edge linger, with just enough dryness to keep things balanced.

This isn’t a peat monster or a sherry bomb. It’s a mature, composed island whisky, where age and cask work together to create something refined and easy to return to.
