This is not on the market yet - but it tells you exactly what’s coming.
24.191 is a dense, flavour-driven malt that leans heavily into richness, texture and depth. The kind of cask that doesn’t hold back.
Neat, it opens with a mix of red fruits and darker undertones - strawberry, overripe cherries and raisins layered with spice, cocoa and a subtle savoury edge. There’s weight here, but also complexity.
On the palate, it goes big. Jammy fruits, muscovado sugar and dark honey sit alongside espresso, black tea and a touch of tobacco - rich, slightly brooding, and built with intent.
Water sharpens the picture rather than softening it. Red berries come forward with more clarity, joined by liqueur chocolates, marzipan and a deeper, almost liqueur-like richness.
There’s also a bit of history in this one. Selected casks from the same distillery were combined at 10 years of age, then re-casked and left to evolve further. This is one of those casks — and it shows in the depth and integration.
This isn’t just a big whisky - it’s a composed one.
A dark, chewy, flavour-packed malt that rewards patience, and one well worth keeping an eye on before it lands.
