This is bourbon with a different mindset.

The Vaults isn’t about a single barrel or a fixed profile. It’s a series built from some of Widow Jane’s oldest stocks, blending bourbons aged 15+ years and finishing them in rare, often unusual oak casks. Each release is slightly different, but always built around depth, texture and experimentation.

It’s less about chasing hype… more about building something layered and a bit unexpected.

On the nose, it opens rich and expressive. Caramel, vanilla and dark fruit sit alongside toasted oak and spice, with hints of chocolate and a slightly earthy edge that shows its age.

The palate is full and textured. Brown sugar, molasses and dried fruit roll through first, followed by baking spice, cocoa and charred oak. There’s real depth here, but it stays balanced rather than overpowering.

The finish is long and evolving. Tobacco, dark chocolate and oak linger, with a gentle dryness and spice that keeps it from ever tipping too sweet.

This isn’t a classic Kentucky profile, and it’s not trying to be.

It’s a blend of old bourbon, thoughtful finishing and a willingness to do things a little differently.
