The whisky
Clynelish, on the coast of Sutherland in the far north Highlands, makes one of the most distinctive new make spirits in Scotland. Its waxy, candle-like texture has made it a favourite with bartenders, blenders and whisky lovers alike.
This twelve year old was matured in a decharred, recharred hogshead, which adds a layer of caramelised sweetness to that signature wax.
