This is one of those drams that doesn’t whisper, it leans in. Rich, layered, and unapologetically indulgent, it walks the line between dessert and old oak in a way that keeps you coming back for another sip “just to be sure.”

Creamy toffee and sweet milky tea rise first on the nose, backed by peach sorbet and a flicker of mango purée. There’s a pastry-shop warmth underneath, then toasted wafer, sultana sponge, Basque cheesecake and milk chocolate all humming along together.

The palate brings depth. Crème caramel meets chewy old oak, with candied tropical fruit dancing through softer notes of peach and plum. Banana chips and a gentle cigar box spice give it structure without stealing the spotlight.

The finish is where it tightens up. Rich oak spice wrapped in burnt vanilla custard and sultanas. Gently drying, still creamy, with lingering fruit, chewy spice, Rolos and blonde tobacco hanging around long after the glass is down.

Decadent but balanced. A proper after-dinner pour, or one to convert someone who says they don’t like “sweet” whisky.
