E.H. Taylor Bottled in Bond Bourbon (2025 Release)

Volume: 750ml
ABV: 50% (100 Proof)
Origin: Kentucky, USA
Style: Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The name E.H. Taylor carries serious weight in American whiskey.

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. helped shape the foundations of modern bourbon, championing quality standards that would eventually become the Bottled in Bond Act itself. The 2025 release of this ultra-aged expression from Buffalo Trace Distillery feels like a direct nod back to that legacy.

Distilled in Spring 2010 and matured for 15 years and 4 months before bottling in Fall 2025, this release arrives at the traditional Bottled in Bond proof of 100 — a proof chosen not for shock value, but for balance and structure.

And that balance defines the whiskey.

Warm vanilla, mature oak and maple sweetness rise immediately on the nose before deeper charred undertones begin to emerge. The palate leans beautifully into baking spice, caramel and seasoned oak, delivering richness without becoming heavy. There’s a softness underneath the structure that carries through into a long lingering finish filled with vanilla, cherry and gentle oak spice.

Unlike the brute force of George T. Stagg or the oily density of William Larue Weller, this release feels measured and composed — a mature bourbon focused on refinement, drinkability and classic bourbon character.

For collectors and long-time Taylor fans, this sits as one of the most significant modern E.H. Taylor releases ever bottled.

Extremely limited worldwide allocation.
