Ballykeefe is a true single estate distillery, meaning everything starts on the farm. The barley is grown, harvested, distilled and matured all on site, bringing back a style of Irish whiskey that had all but disappeared.

And it shows in the glass.

On the nose, it’s bright and inviting. Green apple, citrus and fresh grain lead the way, backed by soft vanilla, toasted oak and a touch of coconut. Clean, lively, and full of energy.

The palate brings that classic pot still texture. Creamy and slightly oily, with orchard fruit, honey and malt rolling through first, before spice builds underneath. Clove, cardamom and a flicker of liquorice give it grip, while keeping everything balanced.

The finish is long, warming and gently spiced. Citrus, malt and soft oak linger, with a dry edge that keeps you coming back for another sip.

This sits right in that sweet spot, approachable enough for newer drinkers, but with enough structure and texture to keep seasoned whisky drinkers interested.
