Ballykeefe is a true “field to glass” operation. Every grain of barley is grown, harvested and distilled on the family farm before being matured in bourbon oak casks. No blending, no shortcuts, just one cask at a time.

That approach shows in the glass.

On the nose, it opens bright and fresh. Apple, tropical fruit and soft vanilla lead, backed by toasted oak and a gentle cereal note that keeps it grounded.

There’s a real sense of energy here. Nothing heavy, nothing overworked.

The palate leans into that same freshness. Orchard fruit drives it, green apple, pear and a touch of citrus, layered with malt sweetness, light spice and a hint of liquorice.

It’s youthful, but deliberately so. Clean, expressive, and full of character rather than weight.

The finish carries a gentle spice. Baking spices, pepper and soft oak linger alongside that fresh fruit core, tapering off clean and dry.
