This is Jura having a bit of fun.

Matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Caribbean rum casks, this one leans into a sweeter, more tropical side of whisky. It’s approachable, slightly indulgent, and built for easy drinking rather than deep analysis.

On the nose, it opens bright and inviting. Apricot, coconut and citrus come through first, backed by vanilla, brown sugar and a soft, sugary sweetness that gives it a real dessert-like feel.

The palate is smooth and easy. Banana, mango and honey roll through, layered with vanilla fudge and light spice. There’s a gentle tropical lift here that separates it from the rest of the Jura range without overpowering it.

The finish is soft and warming. Caramel, spice and a touch of oak linger, with a subtle sweetness that keeps it incredibly drinkable.

This isn’t a serious, sit-and-study dram.

It’s a crowd-pleaser. Smooth, slightly sweet, and built for those moments where you just want something easy that still has a bit of character.

A great crossover whisky. Especially for those coming from bourbon or rum into Scotch.
