The Dalmore King Alexander III is named in honour of King Alexander III of Scotland, saved from a charging stag by Colin of Kintail, Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, in 1263. This exceptional Highland single malt is the only whisky in the world to unite six different cask finishes: American white oak ex-bourbon, Matusalem oloroso sherry, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.

Tasting profile
Nose: rich vanilla, crème caramel and crushed almonds with red berries, passion fruit and toasted coconut.
Palate: toffee, tart cherry and blueberry preserves with dark chocolate, salted almond butter and baking spices.
Finish: exceptionally long and gentle with dark chocolate cake, raspberry and elegant spice.
