This is one of the most recognisable premium rums on the shelf.

XO 20th Anniversary is a blend of Barbadian rums aged between roughly 12–20 years, first matured in ex-bourbon casks in the Caribbean, then finished in French oak Cognac barrels.

That second ageing is what defines it.

On the nose, it opens rich and dessert-like. Toasted coconut, vanilla and ripe banana sit alongside orange peel and soft spice.

The palate is smooth and creamy. Caramel, milk chocolate and honey roll through, layered with tropical fruit and gentle oak.
