This is Jura stepping things up.

Built on the same easy-going foundation as the 10, but with more time and more sherry influence, the 12 brings added depth without losing that approachable island style. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Oloroso sherry, it’s all about balance.

On the nose, it opens soft but layered. Honey, citrus and dark chocolate lead, backed by toasted walnut and a gentle spice that gives it a bit more presence than the 10.

The palate carries that extra weight. Sweet fruit and honey roll through first, followed by dried fruit, brown sugar and a touch of coffee and spice. There’s more richness here, but it still stays smooth and easy to drink.

The finish is mellow and warming. Soft oak, spice and a hint of smoke linger, with a slightly drier edge that keeps everything in check.

This isn’t a big, bold whisky. It’s a balanced one.

A clean step up from the 10, bringing more flavour and structure while keeping that easy, everyday Jura style intact.
