The 2022 Masterpiece is the first high-end expression of Fuji’s “single blended” style, meaning both malt and grain whisky are distilled, matured and blended entirely on-site. No sourcing, no shortcuts, just full control from start to finish.

Built from a selection of rare and long-aged casks, some stretching up to 30 years old, this is less about a number on the label and more about depth, layering and precision.

On the nose, it opens rich and expressive. Dark cherry, custard and chocolate lead, followed by ripe orchard fruit, honey and a subtle incense-like depth that gives it real presence.

The palate is where it separates itself. Silky and full, with waves of stewed fruit, caramel and cocoa rolling through. There’s a gentle spice underneath, a touch of rye-like grip, along with soft oak tannin keeping everything structured and composed.
