Nirvana was built for drinkers approaching single malt for the first time, bottled at 40% and left unpeated. The tropical maturation still does its work, so the softer strength arrives with far more fruit and weight than the number suggests.

• A malty, sweet nose of dry prunes, fruitcake and dark chocolate
• Vanilla, tropical fruit and a dusting of cinnamon
